The architect Peter Märkli (born 1953 in Zurich) studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. During this time he met the architect Rudolf Olgiati and the sculptor Hans Josephsohn. He founded his studio in 1978. From 2002 to 2015 he was a professor at the ETH Zurich.
